Google AdSense: Coming To A Feedburner Feed Near Your Soon

May 31, 2008

Finally Google will start rolling AdSense into Feedburner feeds. I guess the integration process was not that easy, given the time it took them after the acquisition. Regardless, this is good news for all webmasters and bloggers alike. Here is what they said on their blog:
We’ve been hinting at this for awhile, but it’s finally time to spill the beans: Starting next week, we’ll be rolling out AdSense for feeds to a small group of publishers, in anticipation of a full launch to all FeedBurner and AdSense publishers “coming soon”. If you start seeing “Ads by Google” on an ad in a feed somewhere, that’d be us.
Publishers that are already part of the FAN (Feedburner Advertising Network) will keep serving CPM ads, while having AdSense ads to fill the remaining inventory. Definitely another source of income to be considered by most bloggers out there. What do you think? Read more

Ninja Affiliate: Turn Keywords Into Affiliate Links

May 26, 2008

NinjaAff-eCoverMedium Pawan Agarwal, who has previously released a lot of free plugins including the BlogRush Maximizer and the Psychic Search Plugin (among others) has been working his magic once again. This time, the result is Ninja Affiliate, a special WordPress plugin that lets you:
  • Convert any keyword in your blog into an affiliate link
  • Manage the amount of converted keywords / page
  • Manage and track unlimited links, with link cloaking
  • Create professional-looking redirect links
  • Enter affiliate links directly while writing a post
Ninja Affiliate is (pardon my bluntness) a much more advance version of WP Affiliate Pro, WP Cash Links and other similar affiliate marketing plugins for WordPress. One main advantage is complete, logical control over the amount of keywords converted. All the other tools make your blog look like a link farm, Ninja Affiliate does not. screenshot2 Read more

Nuffnang Offers Cost-Per-Clicks = Less Complains

May 17, 2008

In the past, one of the common rant about Nuffnang was the waste of blog real estate when no ads were allocated to bloggers. This should change tomorrow with the implementation of Global CPC ads, which will be displayed when there are no CPM campaign assigned. So far I have earned $0.15 for a click. How? Well, when I first added my blog, the Global CPC ads option was available in the control panel. But nuffnang removed that option the next day. Managed to squeeze 15 cents out of them P Nuffnang CPC
A while back, we opened up a Cost Per Click (CPC) option for bloggers with less than 20 unique visits a day (i.e, Band 0). This option was available to them on their blog manager, and allowed these bloggers to generate income with Nuffnang. Read more
