We bloggers love to add images to our posts as often as possible. The reason being is a common one -
a picture is worth a thousand words. I hope you remember
my last post, where I introduced to you some cool extensions including
Picnik, which happens to be a great extension to handle images on Firefox.
Talking about image hosting,
Flickr is one of the most widely used web-based imaging service. Now, you may upload a lot of images at your
Flickr account and get your blog posts to display them, wherever and whenever needed. I know this would have been been a dream, until this cool plugin was launched. Yes, I am talking about the
Flickr plugin for wordpress.
This Flickr plugin for WordPress allows you to display your
Flickr photosets as albums on your
WordPress blog. The template is pretty simple and intuitive and totally customizable to match the look and feel of your blog. If desired, you can also hook it up with Lightbox or similar display libraries like - Facebox, FancyZoom and Fancybox.
For the user interface, this plugin adds a new
Flickr icon to the WordPress editor allowing you to easily insert your Flickr photos into your blog posts with just a couple of clicks! You also have an option to either link inserted photos to your WordPress Flickr photo album or directly to your
Flickr.com photo page.

Here is a quick check that you can perform to find that out. Just head to Google, and click on the “Images” link on the top left corner. That will take you to the Image Search. Now you just need to type on the search bar “
site:yourdomain.com“. This quiery will filter only the results coming from your site.

If your images are getting indexed correctly by Google you should be able to see a whole bunch of them on the search results.

In this tutorial I will show you how to repair some image noise from a low quality shot and I will show you an extremely quick and easy way to smooth out a person’s face. The Image
You can get the image we’re using in this tutorial from Free Range Stock
here. The technique can be applied to a beauty shot as well, you would just have to adjust the settings on some of the steps to get a more extreme smoothing effect.
